Benefits Identification and Realisation requires many functions or disciplines in a business to work together closely, to develop and capture concisely the outputs of working sessions. Few organisations have skills in this area, potentially making this a challenging activity. An ongoing licence to this product can be used in preparation for such sessions, will provide highly cost effective ongoing training and build awareness and skills in this important area.

Core Focus - Fundamentals of the Topic:

The course focuses on the core aspects of Benefits Planning and realisation - by design we do not include additional activities (such as benefits profiling etc) in order to avoid over complicating the subject and keep the course focused on the fundamentals, including:

• the difference between outcomes and benefits and why this is crucially important in benefits identification and planning;
• the relationship between benefits realisation and programme lifecycles and change programmes;
• developing business cases that demonstrate real benefits, not just target financial savings;

and therefore how to increase the benefits from change programmes by an order of magnitude.

Course Tailoring: Case Study

The course can be tailored to include a case study from your business, including a suite of outputs (i.e. worked examples) from the case study.
