Project Management Assessment

A Project Management Assessment can either assess the project management capability of part of your organisation, or it can be a valuable tool in developing project management training needs. They can be carried out in two ways:

Project Management Assessment Questionnaire

PMIS has a comprehensive assessment questionnaire that be completed by a sample of your staff. It should take each person less than one hour. Following this, PMIS will analyse and present the results to the sponsor. The analysis and presentation can be tailored to meet your specific needs.

Project Management Capability Assessment

PMIS has its own Project Management Capability and Maturity Assessment process. This process will involve face-to-face discussions with a sample of project managers and project team members from your business.

The results will be summarised quantitatively, and presented to the sponsor, in line with the specific terms of reference for each assessment.

The benefit of this type of process is that PMIS is often able to make far more insightful and specific recommendations, having spent some time in your business. The sample of projects does not need to be very large to make the results useful and accurate.
